2018/19 NPL FOOTBALL ACADEMY TEAM OF THE YEAR

More than three hundred players, managers, club officials and their friends and families saw Accrington Stanley management duo John Coleman and Jimmy Bell honour the stars of the season at the 2019 EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Player of the Year Awards.

For the fourth time, the league’s next generation of stars were also represented, members of the NPL Football Academy’s Team of the Year and Player of the Year also collecting their accolades on stage from Coleman, Bell and EVO-STIK NPL chairman Mark Harris.

The players were chosen based on the ‘Team of the Week’ votes throughout what has been another fantastic season on the pitch.

The ‘Player of the Year’ went to Radcliffe FC forward Sheldon Barrington after beating Maasai Dearlove of Matlock Town in second place and Kingsley Cudjoe in third.
