Congratulation to Mickleover Sports duo Marcus Calderone and Jack Thatcher, the first year students who made their first team debuts in the Derbyshire Senior Cup final against Alfreton Town last night at Pride Park, home of Derby County FC.
Both students started the game to become the club’s 13th and 14th football graduate and the NPLFA’s 47th and 48th debutant overall.
Fellow first year student Elliot Murray was also an unused substitute for the first time.
Congratulations to all three students for their inclusion in such a big game.
