Congratulations to former #ESPFANottinghamshire student Dan Flint who made his first team debut for Carlton Town on Saturday 26th March.

Flint became the 79th ESPFA student to make a competitive debut for the first team of our partner clubs in the game against Corby Town.

The midfielder was introduced in the second half of the Northern Premier League Midlands Division clash, with his team trailing 2-1 and pushing for an equaliser. Unfortunately for flint they couldn’t find that all important second goal and the game finished 2-1 to the home side.

He is the second player in six weeks to represent Carlton Town after his former teammate Sonny shaw turned out for The Millers back in February.

It’s a great success to see students who have passed through the ESPFA recruitment progress into senior football and get a foothold in the semi-professional game.
