The ESPFA National Cup commences tomorrow starting with a local derby between ESPFA Cheshire sides Witton Albion and Runcorn Linnets.
Introduced to provide students with more competitive game time, the format is similar to the league with two regional divisions comprising of eight teams in the North and six teams in the South.
Teams will play each other just once alternating between home and away games with the top four teams in each division progressing to the quarter finals with the draw regionalised until the final.
Filming of the games won’t take place until the semi-finals with games primarily taking place on 3G pitches on Thursday afternoons at 12pm unless stated.
