FIRST TEAM INVOLVEMENT 2015/16

It was the final game of the senior league regular season yesterday and it saw a number of our students involved.

Jack Tolley started his third consecutive game for Mickleover Sports in goal at Stamford AFC. In the same game Tyron Buxton became the 12th footballing graduate of the NPL Football Academy when he made his debut with 10 minutes to go.

Adam Leach came on with 20 minutes to go to play his 5th game for Radcliffe Borough. Academy captain Sam Danielswas on the bench once again as an unused sub.

Schoolboy Jordan Pierrepont who is joining Matlock Town Academy in September 2016 was on the bench for the Gladiators trip to Barwell. It was the young goalkeepers first involvement of what they hope is many more for the talented goalkeeper.

The end of our second season has seen TWELVE students make their semi-professional debut in the Evo-Stik League with a further FIVE more involved on the bench at some point throughout the season.

A fantastic record and with the talent who are joining in September added to the fantastic talent we already have at our clubs, that number is only going to rise.
