IN-PLAY SPORTS PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCED

Updated: Mar 7, 2022

The Education Semi-Professional Football Academy (ESPFA) is pleased to announce a partnership with sports technology company In-Play Sports who become the organisations ‘Video Analysis Partner’.

Their cloud-based video analysis software, In-Play Online, helps improve coaching and player performance. It provides users with specific tools so they can analyse video, create playlists, review stats and receive performance feedback on both desktop and mobile devices.

ESPFA Head of Operations Tom Glendon commented “We are delighted to partner with In-Play Sports to provide our students with the experience of how analysis in football works. Analysis plays a big part in the world of sport, not only at the elite level but also now in the semi-professional and grass roots game and there is huge interest from our students with 68 first and second years expressing an interest in this area when surveyed at the beginning of the academic year.

“We have been very impressed with In-Play’s professionalism and their product as their cloud-based software is a fantastic easy to use platform not only for experienced users but also for beginners which is perfect for our students.”

In-Play Sports currently have clients such as AFC Bournemouth, Middlesbrough FC and several top sporting universities in the UK. They are delighted that the ESPFA have chosen to use their video analysis software.

Director Chris Gill commented “I’m really pleased we have got this partnership sorted. The guys at the ESPFA offer a great experience to their players and their willingness to introduce new technologies is great to see. There seems to be a great appetite from the students to gain exposure to video analysis and with In-Play Online, they can really get stuck in.”
