Congratulations to former ESPFA Derbyshire student, Jake Edge-Lucas who made his first-team debut for Mickleover in last night’s Northern Premier League fixture against Buxton.
Jake Became the 65th ESPFA Derbyshire student to make his competitive debut for the first team of our partner clubs.
Edge-Lucas started the game at right back for the visiting side and put in a great performance against a very strong Buxton team. Despite Mickleover losing the game 3-1, this was a great opportunity for Jake to get a taster of first team football after a very impressive start to the season.
It’s a great success to see students who have passed through the ESPFA recruitment progress into senior football and get a foothold in the semi-professional game.
