JAMIE WHITE MAKES HIS FIRST TEAM DEBUT

Congratulations to Brighouse Town Academy student Jamie White, who made his first team debut last night in a 3-0 defeat to Ossett United.

The Brighouse keeper was named on the bench for Towns Integro Sports Cup round two match up but was called up to the starting line-up following an injury to Jordan Porter in the warm up.

Jamie becomes the 54th player from the NPL Football Academy to make his first team debut and the first ever Brighouse Academy student to do so.

White has been impressive all season for the Brighouse Academy side, who currently sit in sixth spot and hold the second best defensive record in the Sports Traider Division. He was also named in the Team of the Week for #MatchweekOne of the NPLFA season.
