Congratulations to Matlock Town students Ethan Knowles and Nathan Clarke, who both made their senior debuts for the Gladiators in last night’s Integro League Cup Round Two defeat against Basford United.
Second Year student Knowles was included from the start and played fifty-seven minutes and became the NPLFA’s 40th football graduate and number forty-one soon followed when first year student Nathan Clarke was introduced as a 69thminute substitute.
First year student Alex Phillipson was also included in the squad for the first time and he was joined by current second year student Ashton Hall and former student Jordan Pierrepont who both played the full 90 minutes for the Derbyshire side.
