Congratulations to ESPFA Somerset first-year student, Lucas Schwalbe-Goodwin who made his first team debut for Frome Town last night.
Schwalbe-Goodwin became the 68th ESPFA student to make a competitive debut for the first team of our partner clubs in the Southern League cup tie against Weston-Super-Mare.
He was named on the subs bench to start the game but was called upon in the second half to try and snatch a late equaliser for his side. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be and Frome narrowly lost game 3-2.
Despite the result, making the step up to a competitive first team game is a huge achievement and Lucas should be extremely proud of himself. Well done and keep up the good work.
