This week in the ESPFA we have some tasty match ups on the cards with two local derbies coming from the North Division.
Key Matchup
Skelmersdale United v Runcorn Linnets
The Key Matchup for #MatchweekTen comes from the North Division where Runcorn Linnets make the 20-mile journey north to face Skelmersdale United. Runcorn have the opportunity to increase their win streak to seven in tomorrow’s fixture and can extend their lead at the top of the table to eight points if they win. They still remain the only team in the ESPFA to have won every game so far. Skelmersdale United on the other hand will be determined to get the win tomorrow and seek revenge for the defeat they suffered at the hands of Runcorn Linnets in #MatchweekThree. The home side could also move up to second in the table behind Runcorn Linnets with a win due to Brighouse Town not playing this week.
North Division
Mickleover v Belper Town
In this #ESPFADerbyshire clash both sides will be seeking an all-important win in their last game before Christmas. The sides recently met in #MatchweekSeven where they played out a 0-0 stalemate. Mickleover dominated the ball on that occasion, but it was Belper town that had the best opportunities to win the game. This fixture has all the makings for another very competitive game as two evenly matched sides go head-to-head.
