Congratulations to former Matlock Town student Max Hunt who made his debut for the Gladiators on Saturday afternoon in their 2-1 victory over Lancaster City.
Max who is currently on trial at Premier League club West Bromwich Albion, finally made his Matlock debut with a full 90 minutes to become the Derbyshire clubs sixth football graduate and the NPLFA’s 27th overall.
This is not the first taste of NPL level football for the young defender after spending the first part of the season on loan at Division One South club Belper Town.
