NORTH PLAYERS OF THE HALF TERM - DEC 22
Congratulations to all students who have been nominated as the club they represent 'Player of the Half Term'.
Here, the coaches explain why they have chosen their respective students for their quality and attitude on the training pitch and their performances in the league games.

ESPFA CHESHIRE (Runcorn Linnets)
“BILLY MCNAY is a perfect example of the type of player that excels on this programme. He is very coachable, shows modest appreciation for everyone's efforts towards his development and quite simply is the most enthusiastic player I have ever worked with. His sheer desire to want to be here and learn is of such a magnitude that it has become contagious within the group. I look forward to working with him every session and watching the joy he has in playing the game."
– Steve Chaney.
ESPFA CHESHIRE (Witton Albion)
“JENSON BIRD hasn’t missed a single session, always trains at 100%. He has become a wonderful leader, respected by his peers and is a 'Rolls Royce' of a player"
– Martyn Irvine.
ESPFA GREATER MANCHESTER (Mossley AFC)
“RONNIE BEECH took a while to adapt at first as he was challenged to understand the detail of the game and his position, but Ronnie has progressed massively and has really blossomed over the last six weeks or so. He is always one of the first at training, puts the nets up, gives his all and he cares a lot!"
– Jordan Southworth.
ESPFA LANCASHIRE (Skelmersdale United)
“BEN CARLSON has a fantastic attitude and work ethic in both games and training. He has progressed well throughout this half term.”
- Graham Hastings.
ESPFA WEST YORKSHIRE (Brighouse Town)
“ARCHIE STOKES joined the programme as a goalkeeper but has been playing at centre back for the side and doing it with a smile on his face. Archie is slowly coming out of his shell and shows great attitude both in the classroom and on the pitch ”
- Harry Birro.
ESPFA WEST YORKSHIRE (Ossett United)
“BOBBY ISBELL has become a trusted member of the team. His attitude and application in training has improved as the season has gone on, which has been evidently replicated on the pitch. He has been asked to play in defence, midfield and attack this season and has always produced quality.”
- Isaac Assenso.
