16 year old Scott Taylor had a week to remember last week when on Thursday he received his GCSE results that allowed him to enrol on the Belper Town Academy and just two days later he made his first team debut for the Nailers in their goalless draw away at Rugby Town.
The young winger has been ever present in pre-season for the Derbyshire club and made the bench for the first two games but when he came on for Grant Ryan with six minutes to go, he made history when he became the first Belper Town Academy student and the fifth NPL Football Academy student overall to make their semi-professional bow.
