SOUTH DIVISION STUDENT OF THE HALF-TERM – JANUARY/ FEBRUARY

Well done to the following students who have been nominated by their tutor for their clubs ‘Student of the half-term’. The hard work of our students during the first term of the academic year has been noted and we are immensely proud of everything they have achieved so far this year.




#ESPFANottinghamshire (with CARLTON TOWN) - HAMMAD ARIF


Congratulations to Hammad Arif who has been named as #ESPFANottinghamshire student of the half-term. His tutor, Wanye Looker complemented Hammad’s hard working and driven nature. He said: “Hammad leads by example, works hard, always has a smile on his face and is extremely driven. His high standards also carry over to his training and match days.”



#ESPFABuckinghamshire (with CHESHAM UNITED) - JOE VOSS


Well done to #ESPFABuckinghamshire student Joe Voss who has been named as the regions student of the half term. Ross Langworthy, the regional recruitment manager for the south has been impressed by Joe’s constant high standards and his determination to always aim attempt to achieve the highest grades possible. He said: Joe has maintained excellent academic standards throughout both years with the ESPFA. He consistently targets the highest possible grades and displays an excellent work ethic. He has developed strong research skills and clearly takes pride in the work he produces.”


#ESPFASomerset (with FROME TOWN) - FILIP BOREK


#ESPFASomerset student Filip Borek has been awarded the title of student of the half-term by Ross Langworthy, the regional recruitment manager for the south. Ross has been impressed with Filip’s constant application in lessons and his determination to always strive for the highest grades possible. He said: “Filip has continued his excellent start to the ESPFA programme, which has seen him consistently display a very high standard of work and an excellent work ethic. Filip has shown excellent understanding of key points within the Sports Development unit that he has been studying. His work has always been handed in ahead of deadlines and to a Distinction standard, and he is a terrific role model to his peers.”


#ESPFAOxfordshire (with KIDLINGTON FC) - ARCHIE PEPPER


Congratulations to Archie Pepper who has been named as #ESPFAOxfordshire student of the half-term. His tutor, Redd Pratley complemented his engagement in class and the ability to consistently hit high standards within his work. He said: “Archie has consistently produced high Merit level work and has started to push himself to achieve the Distinction criteria on a more consistent basis. He has also showed great engagement and demonstrated excellent independent and group work in class sessions.”


#ESPFAWestMidlands (with RUSHALL OLYMPIC FC) - JAMIE BRYAN


Well done to #ESPFAWestMidlands first-year student Jamie Bryan who has been names as the regions student of the half-term. Lewis Moore, the #ESPFAWestMidlands tutor has been pleased with the high quality of work that Jamie produces. He said: “Jamie has achieved a Distinction on each assignment this year, completing work to a high quality. Jamie applies himself well in both the academic and practical side of the course, always motivated to reach his optimal level. Jamie is polite, a fantastic team player and a pleasure to teach.”


#ESPFASouthGloucestershire (with YATE TOWN FC) - LUIS CHAPPELL


Luis Chappell has been named as #ESPFASouthGloucestershire student of the half-term by Ross Langworthy, the regional recruitment manager for the south. Ross has commended Luis for taking the time to do his own research and apply it to his in-class studies. He said: “Luis has displayed an excellent work ethic this term and has shown a determination to target the highest possible grades. He has demonstrated an excellent understanding of key themes in his sports development unit and has been able to combine his in-class learning with his own research and strong analytical skills to achieve a Distinction in this term’s unit. Luis’ work has consistently been at a very high standard, and he sets an excellent example for his fellow students to follow.”
