SOUTH DIVISION STUDENT OF THE HALF-TERM - SETPEMBER/OCTOBER

Well done to the following students who have been nominated by their tutor for their clubs ‘Student of the half-term’. The hard work of our students during the first half-term of the academic year has been noted and their dedication to getting used to a new blended learning model has been excellent to see.



CARLTON TOWN – DOMINIC PRICE


Congratulations to Carlton Town first year student, Dominic Price who has been nominated for this award by his tutor, Megan Turner. She believes his effort in class has led him to produce some excellent work in the first half-term. She said: Dom is a polite and hardworking student who has put in a lot of effort this last 7 weeks and has produced some great work so far, he has taken great notes which has allowed him to create high grade answers and so far, he is smashing through his work.”


CHESHAM UNITED – MADISON WILKIN


Chesham United second year student, Madison Wilkin has been named as his side’s ‘Student of the half-term’ by his tutor Ben Hayward, who has been impressed with Madison’s high-quality work. He said: “Madison Wilkin has met every deadline and the quality of his work is really high, made some excellent points in analysing fitness tests.”


FROME TOWN – JOE SIMENTON


Well done to Joe Simenton of Frome Town, who has been awarded the ‘Student of the half-term’ by his tutor, Sam Roberts. He has been very pleased with Joe’s excellent attitude towards learning and the high standard of work he has produced in the first half-term. He said: “Since college has begun, Joe has stood out in the class in terms of his work ethic to complete his coursework on time and at a good standard and his attitude online and in class has been brilliant. The others could learn a lot from him.”


KIDLINGTON – CHANDRA LIMBU


Congratulations to Kidlington student and academy captain, Chandra Limbu who has been put forward by his tutor, Redd Pratley as his sides ‘Student of the half-term’. The midfielder has made a great start to the new blended learning model and has handed in some high-quality work. Redd Pratley said: “Chandra has started the new academic year off excellently and has adapted to the new style of learning very well. He has 100% attendance for his lessons and has conducted himself very professionally throughout, producing some fantastic work within classroom sessions.”


RUSHALL OLYMPIC – CHARLEY GOODY


Rushall Olympic student, Charley Goody has been named as his sides ‘Student of the half-term’ by his tutor, Lewis Moore. Moore believes that Charley has shown a brilliant attitude towards his studies this year. He said: “Charley's attitude for both the practical and education side of the course has been exemplary. Always motivated to complete all tasks to the highest standard with a smile on his face.”


YATE TOWN – NATALIO STELLA


Well done to Yate Town second year student, Natalio Stella who has been nominated for this award by his tutor, Sam Roberts. Roberts thinks that Natalio has picked up where he left off last year in the classroom. He said: “Continuing on from last year Natalio has started off brilliantly. In class and online he's been learning well and trying to push for high grades again. Within and around football he has shown great attitude and commitment; making him a role model for the younger lot coming through.”
