The ESPFA is delighted to welcome back Carlton Town Football Club as a ‘player pathway partner’.
The Millers originally joined as partners in 2017 until 2024 and saw over 70 students represent their club with five progressing to the first team to make their senior debut.
Current and incoming students from the ESPFA Nottinghamshire programme will now represent the Millers from the 2026-27 season after their debut season representing Belper Town Football Club as their (Red) named team.
An ESPFA spokesman commented “We are delighted that we have partnered once again with Carlton Town Football Club. The students have enjoyed representing Belper Town for their debut season and a huge thanks goes to our long term partners at the Nailers’ for facilitating this for the 2025-26 season. Aligning a Nottingham based club for our Nottinghamshire programme was always the long-term aim and we are pleased that the club chosen is Carlton Town once again”
Mick Garton, Carlton Town Chairman added “We are delighted to team up again with the ESPFA, we have worked closely and successfully with them over a number of years previously and are confident this is the best set up for Carlton Town to be working with in terms of students and opportunities for all moving forward for the 2026-2027 season"
There are limited places left for the 2026-27 season with the next trial on Thursday 28th May, 1.15pm - 2.45pm at Gresham Sports Park, Nottingham, NG2 7YF.
