NORTH DIVISION STUDENT OF THE HALF-TERM – JANUARY/ FEBRUARY

Well done to the following students who have been nominated by their tutor for their clubs ‘Student of the half-term’. The hard work of our students during the first term of the academic year has been noted and we are immensely proud of everything they have achieved so far this year.



#ESPFADerbyshire (with Belper Town) - FYNN MARSHALL


Congratulations to #ESPFADerbhyshire second year student, Fynn Marshall who has been nominated for this award by his tutor, Wayne Looker. Wayne believes Fynn works extremely hard both in the classroom and on the training pitch and is a great role model for his fellow students. He said: “Fynn is extremely hard working when it comes to completing his work and when I have been involved in training and he likes to set standards, he works harder than most in and out of the classroom.”


#ESPFAWestYorkshire (with Brighouse Town) - ELLIOT HAIGH


Well done to Elliot Haigh of #ESPFAWestYorkshire who has been named as the student of the half-term for our programme with Brighouse Town. He has achieved brilliant results in the classroom and has also been working hard to gain work experience outside of the programme. His tutor, James Piercy said: “Elliot has continued to achieve Distinction grades on a consistent basis and has also now gained some work experience working within schools delivering sports activity sessions which shows Elliot's commitment and dedication as well as his desire to achieve and be successful within the industry. Keep up the good work Elliot!”



#ESPFAWestYorkshire (with Ossett United) - KEEL DEL-GRANDE


Keel Del-Grande has been named as the regions student of the half-term with Ossett United. His tutor, James Piercy has commended Keel for his excellent work this term and his brilliant behaviour and punctuality. He said: “Keel has shown a great level of motivation and commitment so far this year with him having outstanding attendance and punctuality levels and his behaviour is second to none. Keel has really kicked on with his work this term also, with him achieving high grades, producing some fantastic work so far this year! Well done Keel.”

#ESPFADerbyshire (with Mickleover FC) - CHIPEGO HAMONGA


Congratulations to #ESPFADerbyshire second year student, Chipego Hamonga who has been named as one of the regions student of the half-term. His tutor, Ajay Rai has praised Chipego’s high quality work that he has handed in this term. He said: “My student of the half term is Chipego Hamonga. Chip has been chosen for his excellent work rate in both the classroom and in training. He continues to produce excellent work in his assignments and always helps set up the equipment in training. I am sure this will continue in the following term.”


#ESPFACheshire (with Runcorn Linnets) - WILLIAM FAULKNER


#ESPFACheshire student William Faulkner has been awarded the title of student of the half-term by his tutor, Andrew Tower. Andrew has been pleased with his ability to join in with discussions during lessons and his attitude towards learning in general. He said: “Will has progressed with his work during this term and adds value to class discussions, always showing insight, confidence, and maturity. His attitude towards the course, his peers, and staff is always top class.”



#ESPFALancashire (with Skelmersdale United) - HARVEY ADATSI


Congratulations to Harvey Adatsi who has been named as the #ESPFALancashire student of the half-term. His Tutor, Andrew Tower complemented the improvements Harvey has made to his work this year and his excellent attendance. He said: “Harvey has progressed during this half-term period and is adding more and more detail to his work and pushing himself to submit a higher standard of work. His attendance is exemplary, and he is a pleasure to teach.”

#ESPFACheshire (with Witton Albion) - ZACH BILLINGE


Well done to #ESPFACheshire student Zach Billinge who has been named as the student of the half-term for our programme with Witton Albion. Mark Baker, the head of programme for the ESPFA has been impressed by Zach’s concentration in the classroom and the developments in his work. He said: “Zach has knuckled down and focused on all tasks set over the last few weeks. He has shown great development in such a short period of time in improving his focus and productivity.”
