NORTH PLAYERS OF THE HALF TERM - APR 24

Congratulations to all students who have been nominated at the club they represent 'Player of the Half Term'.

Here, the coaches explain why they have chosen their respective students for their quality and attitude on the training pitch and their performances in the league and cup games over the last six weeks.

ESPFA LANCASHIRE (Skelmersdale United)

"MACKENZIE HOLT has always been close to this award every time. His attitude and willingness to listen and learn is excellent and his performances on the pitch have shown this. He has deserved being invited into first team training and not looked out of place. Well deserved!"

- Graham Hastings

ESPFA WEST YORKSHIRE (Ossett United)

"BEN JACKSON has been immense this term. He has been solid in defence, showing great physicality, improvement in decision-making, and in the other box, he is a huge aerial threat getting himself on the scoresheet."

- Isaac Assenso

ESPFA GREATER MANCHESTER (Mossley)

"YOUNIS IQBAL has stepped up this term to be a leader as a second year student for the first years and with this has put in some good performances in training and in games."

- Jordan Vincent

ESPFA CHESHIRE (Runcorn Linnets)

"DONNELL HIGGINS has navigated himself through a difficult part of the season through his attitude and application. He has taken on a new role within the team well and is growing in confidence every week."

- Steve Chaney

ESPFA WEST YORKSHIRE (Brighouse Town)

"ADAM PARKER was injured during one of our games early in the season, he has worked hard to regain his fitness, showing a great attitude and application. Adam has continued to attend training throughout his rehabilitation."

- Kevin Ward

ESPFA CHESHIRE (Witton Albion)

"My nomination is BLAKE FRANXHI, he has really shown a massive improvement over this term and has become a real leader among the group. His intensity and commitment during both training and games is unmatched and the player of the half term is well deserved! Keep it up Blake!"

- Peter Currah-Hall
