NORTH PLAYERS OF THE HALF TERM - DEC 23

Congratulations to all students who have been nominated at the club they represent 'Player of the Half Term'.


Here, the coaches explain why they have chosen their respective students for their quality and attitude on the training pitch and their performances in the league and cup games over the last six/seven weeks.



ESPFA LANCASHIRE (Skelmersdale United)


"LEYTON BAINES has shown great leadership qualities within training and games even though he’s been struggling with an injury. He has also has had the opportunity to go and train with the first team recently and we have been getting positive comments around his performance in their training."

"GEORGE HOPKINS has been asked to play out of position this term and has adapted with ease. He has played with maturity and has consistently made effective decisions in and out of possession."

"CALUM THISTLETON's work ethic in training has been superb as well as his intensity in games. He has been doing really well lately."

"Jayden receives this award for his excellent attendance and application in training. His contributions on a match day of 8 goals and 4 assists so far this campaign show that his hard work is paying off."

"My nomination is EMANUEL HICKSON, he’s really stepped up this half term and been a key member of the group. As we’ve had several postponements because of the weather, it’s been hard to keep everyone motivated but Emanuel has driven the group from within and helped set the standard expected. Keep up the good work Mani!"
