#ProgressionWeek | Josh Craddock

The NPL Football Academy is delighted to announce that Belper Town student Josh Craddock has gained a scholarship in America.

Josh joined the programme in September 2015 to complete his second year of the BTEC in Sport Level 3 Diploma which he completed in June.

He has now gained a scholarship at BYU Hawaii in Honolulu studying Sports Science for four years where he will also play college football for the ‘Seasiders’.

Craddock impressed a lot of people last year, he was named in the inaugural team of the year after being voted by his peers and other coaches in the NPL Football Academy. He was also selected for the inter league team but unfortunately had to pull out due to injury in the games against Oldham Athletic and Accrington Stanley.

Craddock stated “I loved the Belper Town Academy, it was one of the best years of my life. I met some great people and learnt a lot on the course. The programme is fantastic and I would definitely recommend the NPL Football Academy to students who are just leaving school. Thank you to everyone at Belper and the NPLFA”

Everyone at the NPL Football Academy would like to wish Josh the very best of luck in Hawaii as he flew out today (Wednesday) to start his new chapter. We will be keeping a close eye on Josh on how he is progressing both in his education and on the “soccer” field.
