Congratulations to former #ESPFADerbyshire student Findley Bowen who made his first team debut for Mickleover in Saturday’s Southern League Premier Central matchup against Leiston.
He becomes the 81st student to make a competitive debut for the first team of one of our partner clubs and the 100th first team involvement from our past and present students (81 first team debuts, 19 call ups).
The young shot stopper started the game for Mickleover and played the full 90 minutes but unfortunately his side were beaten 3-1. His former #ESPFADerbyshire teammate and the 80th first team debutant, Ethan Mann was also featured on the bench.
It’s a great success to see students who have passed through the ESPFA recruitment progress into senior football and get a foothold in the semi-professional game.
