TYLER WALKER MAKES HIS FIRST TEAM DEBUT

Congratulations to Ossett United academy student, Tyler Walker, who made his first team debut on Tuesday evening in the West Ridings County Cup.

Walker was named on the bench for Ossett’s cup visit to Thackley AFC and replaced Jack Stockdill in the second half to make his first team debut.

He becomes the 59th player from the NPL Football Academy to make his first team debut and the third from Ossett’s academy in the past month.

Unfortunately, Ossett United lost 2-1 to an impressive Thackley side, but Walker was in good company as fellow NPLFA students Carl Clarkson and Aiden Croft also made appearances from the bench.

We are immensely proud of this group of Ossett United students, who’s hard work and dedication in the academy side has earned them a place in the first team squad. Keep up the good work and well done Tyler!
